While recently travelling to Steinbach, Barbara received an unexpected surprise that might take her a lot further away from home. She was scratching a “Set For Life” lottery ticket in the car when she uncovered three matching symbols in game one. The Scratch ’n Win prize was for $100,000.
“I told my husband to stop the car in Ste. Anne so I could check the ticket,” Barbara remembered. Recalling her reaction to the win, she said, “I was shocked! I can’t believe this is true. I never expected this.”
Barbara wants to take some time to decide what to do with her winnings, but travel is likely on the horizon.
The winning ticket was purchased at Richer Husky in her hometown.
