On February 5, 2013, just after 10:30am, Island Lake RCMP were dispatched to a report of a deceased male located outside a residence on Wasagamack First Nation.

RCMP report that the deceased has been identified as a 17-year-old male. Police will not be releasing the name.

RCMP are investigating the circumstances surrounding his death and an autopsy has been ordered.
