Selkirk RCMP are requesting the public’s assistance in locating a missing 13-year-old male youth, Derrik Lawrence William Smith.
Smith was last seen on February 15, 2013, at about 12:30pm. It is believed he may have been traveling to Winnipeg.
Derrik Smith is described as 5′ 4″ tall and about 175 lbs. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweater with a white sweater underneath it, blue jeans and wearing white, blue and orange Nike runners. He was carrying a blue and black backpack.
Anyone with information as to the whereabouts of Derrik Smith is asked to call the Selkirk RCMP at 204-482-1112 or their local police agency.

The missing youth has been located and is safe.
