On March 12, 2013, at about 5pm, Selkirk RCMP Traffic Services were dispatched to a multi-vehicle collision at the intersection of Highway 100 and Highway 3.
RCMP report that icy conditions at this location resulted in a vehicle sliding into the ditch, which then triggered a chain reaction resulting in three other passing-by vehicles to be involved in separate collisions. Police say that one of these vehicles entered into the ditch hitting the first vehicle.
A 47-year-old man was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. No other injuries are known to police.
