A Winnipegosis man is facing impaired driving charges after breath tests showed his blood alcohol concentration to be almost twice the legal limit.
Around 11pm, on March 23, 2013, officers from the Dauphin Municipal RCMP detachment conducted a traffic stop with a vehicle on 1st Avenue S.E. in Dauphin, Manitoba. Officers noted the driver of the vehicle had been drinking and administered a roadside screening test which resulted in a fail. The man was then taken to the Dauphin detachment where breath tests showed his blood alcohol concentration to be almost twice the legal limit.
RCMP report that the driver, a 20-year-old Winnipegosis man, is to make his first court appearance in Dauphin on May 5, 2013.
