On March 31, 2013, at about 5:15pm, RCMP members at Bloodvein First Nation were called to a disturbance at a house party in the community.
Upon arrival, RCMP members located an injured adult male. He was transported to the nursing station where he later died.
Police say that this matter is being investigated as a homicide.
RCMP report that an adult female has been arrested, though charges have not yet been laid. The suspect and victim are both residents of Bloodvein FN and known to each other.
