The Summer in the City Festival Committee has announced that Canadian greats Myles Goodwyn and April Wine, along with Gord Bamford, will be the headline artists at Steinbach’s street festival this summer.
Summer in the City chair, Crystal Hildebrandt shared the much anticipated news this morning. Hildebrandt says “it’s fun every year to hear people speculate about who we are bringing to town. More and more people are starting to take an interest in the Festival and as a committee we couldn’t be happier.β While the evening concerts are growing quite a reputation with fans, they are also becoming popular within the music industry. This, according to Stage and Production committee head Cindi Rempel Patrick, βIn working with various agencies, our festival has already garnered great respect and credibility. We are proud of our professional crew, technicians, and volunteers who work together to display such community spirit. The Artists feel it too!β

Myles Goodwyn and April Wine will take the stage on Friday night June 14th and Saturday June 15th the crowd will be treated to Country artist Gord Bamford.
