Scene of aircraft crash in the RM of St. Clements.
On April 25, 2013, just after 2pm, Selkirk RCMP received a 911 call that an aircraft had crashed near Stead Road in the RM of St. Clements. Emergency services from the East Beaches Fire department along with paramedics were also dispatched.
Police say that the aircraft, an ultra-light Cessna was located along side Stead Road.
RCMP report that the male pilot and one female passenger were the only ones on board at the time of the crash. They are both being treated for non-life threatening injuries.
The Transportation Safety Board of Canada was notified and police continue to investigate.
