Steinbach RCMP are currently investigating numerous assault incidents that occurred this past weekend in Steinbach and La Broquerie.
On April 28, 2013, at approximately 10:30pm, Steinbach RCMP were dispatched to a domestic assault complaint in progress at an apartment complex in Steinbach. Police responded to the apartment complex and the individuals involved were located outside in the parking lot. Police arrested one adult male in relation to this incident. There were no serious injuries as a result of this incident.
On April 27, 2013, at approximately 4am, Steinbach RCMP were dispatched to a domestic assault in progress in La Broquerie. Police located the individuals involved in the Co-op parking lot. Two adult females were arrested and both were intoxicated at the time of the incident.
On April 26, 2013, at approximately 1:30am, Steinbach RCMP responded to a complaint of an assault in progress at a residential apartment complex in Steinbach. Investigation revealed an intoxicated adult male assaulted his girlfriend. There were no serious injuries in this matter. The adult male was held in custody and was later released with a promise to appear and undertaking for court at a later date.
Police investigation into these incidents are ongoing.
