The SCHS Chamber Choir returned with a “Gold” tune in their hearts after a very successful tour at the Heritage Festival in Chicago. Director James Fast was elated as the Chamber Choir’s performance raised the bar at this year’s festival. The choir received a Gold Trophy for their dedicated efforts.

Mr. Fast went on to say “I want to congratulate the SCHS chamber choir students for their fine performance in Chicago. They received an average of 92% which puts them in the 90th percentile of all choirs at all the Heritage Festival events this past year. I counted at least 109 different festivals which Heritage puts on, which means that there could be participating choirs numbering in the thousands. What is also noteworthy is that our chamber choir garners its singers from a pool of 130 students, while other schools would certainly have much larger student bodies.”
