On May 14, 2013, Steinbach RCMP received a report from Manitoba Hydro that someone had broken into one of their enclosed work trailers that had been parked along Penner Drive in Blumenort. Police say that the incident occurred between 4:30pm on May 13 and 12:30am May 14.
RCMP report that suspects took several specialized wire working tools and other hand tools. The estimated total lost of stolen items is $20,000.
