Steinbach’s beautification crew have been busy hanging over 400 flower baskets up on the boulevards along Main Street and Highway 12, showing signs of summer are coming to the city.
Last week, Steinbach Parks and Rec employees worked a night shift, from about midnight to 6:00am, to get all the baskets hung. The beautification crew is now working on planting the other parks and gardens in the city.
Steinbach is well known for its spectacular summer floral display and creativity. Residents and City staff all look forward to seeing what City Landscape Technician, Joyce Purchase, has planned for the year.
