On June 11, 2013, Steinbach RCMP officers were dispatched to a domestic assault in progress at a residence in Blumenort, Manitoba.
Police say that an adult male was located and arrested without incident. As a result of the investigation, the suspect was arrested on charges of robbery, forcible confinement, assault with a weapon, two counts of assault causing bodily harm and three counts of assault.
RCMP report that the suspect was remanded into custody and was scheduled to appear in Winnipeg court.
