On June 15, 2013, just before 1:30pm, Headingley RCMP and local emergency services were dispatched to the scene of a fatal house fire on a rural property just east of Elie, in the RM of Cartier.
RCMP report that two deceased have been located in the residence. They have been tentatively identified as an adult male resident and an adult male relative.
The Manitoba Office of the Fire Commissioner is attending to assist with the investigation.
Police continue to investigate.
