Traffic along PTH 10 was lined up for approximately 2km prior to the opening of the gates to Countryfest on Wednesday afternoon.
RCMP officers patrolling the highways in the area of the Countryfest site issued over 90 tickets for speeding, one for driving without a licence, one for driving while suspended, four for failing to wear a seatbelt and six for other traffic offences. There were no calls for service to the site on Wednesday.
RCMP officers will be conducting checkstops in the Dauphin area throughout the weekend.
