On June 28, 2013, Steinbach RCMP received a report from Child and Family Services that two young children under the age of three had been removed from a home as a result of injuries they received. The children were taken to the hospital and medical examination results indicate the injuries are the result of physical abuse.
RCMP report that the injuries were not serious in nature and that the children have been placed in a home for their safety while police continue with the investigation.
