On July 1, 2013, shortly after 3am, Sprague RCMP were dispatched to a report of a fire at a business in Middlebro.
On arrival, RCMP members found the business completely engulfed in flames. The Sprague fire department attended and put out the fire.
RCMP report that nobody was injured in the fire and the damage to the business is estimated to be over $1,000,000. The RCMP and Office of the Fire Commissioner are currently investigating the fire and the cause is presently unknown.
