On July 2, 2013, shortly after 1am, Steinbach RCMP received a complaint of a robbery at the corner of Main Street and Reimer Street intersection.
The suspects reportedly exited a vehicle and challenged two males to a fight. The victims were able to convince the suspects to leave, but before they did, they stole a baseball cap from one victim while brandishing a knife.
Police say that the first suspect is described as a white male, 5’10”, lanky build, wavy surfer style hair, and was wearing a greyish black zip-up hoodie and baggy dark jeans. The second suspect is described as approximately 5’11”, slim, short brown hair, stubble on his face, and was wearing a flat brim hat, blue jeans and a black shirt with a Lion graphic.
RCMP report that the suspects fled the scene in a dark green 1990’s style 4 door Honda Civic driven by a female. The vehicle is reported to have surface rust on the body panels around the wheels.
