On July 14, 2013, at 11am, Lac du Bonnet RCMP and local emergency services were dispatched to the scene of a fatal dirt bike accident near the intersection of Highway 44 and PR 214 in the RM of Reynolds.

Initial investigation indicates that a 29-year-old man was riding in a gravel pit when he was thrown from his motorcycle. Police say that the driver was transported to hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

RCMP report that the rider was wearing a helmet at the time of the collision and that an RCMP Traffic Collision Analyst attended to assist with the investigation.
