Three Ebb and Flow First Nation residents are facing drug trafficking charges after being found to be in possession of marijuana during a recent police investigation.

Just after 5pm on July 9, 2013, Ste. Rose du Lac RCMP officers on patrol observed a 2011 Dodge Grand Caravan on Highway 68 in the Rural Municipality of Alonsa, Manitoba. Police conducted a vehicle stop and through investigation discovered that three occupants in the vehicle were in possession of approximately 474 grams of marijuana. Police say that the value of drugs was approximately $4,740.

RCMP report that two adult males and one adult female from Ebb and Flow First Nation, Manitoba, have been charged with possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking. They are scheduled to appear in Dauphin Provincial Court on September 17th, 2013.
