Manitoba Public Insurance Service Centres and Contact Centre will be closed for regular business during the Labour Day weekend, including Friday, August 30 to accommodate changes to our computer systems.
Customers needing Autopac services are encouraged to attend their broker or Service Centre before Friday, Aug. 30.
On Friday, Aug 30, customers who have urgent business can visit the following locations:
- Gateway Road Service Centre (40 Lexington Park), Winnipeg
- cityplace (234 Donald St), Winnipeg
- Brandon Service Centre (731-1st St.)
- Selkirk Service Centre (1008 Manitoba Ave.)
*open 9am to 4pm (limited services)
Some Autopac agents may also be closed during the Labour Day weekend. To confirm your insurance broker’s hours of operation please contact them directly.
“Manitobans who are in a collision, or need to make a claim, can do so the next available business day (Tuesday, Sept. 3),” MaryAnn Kempe, Vice President, Community and Corporate Relations, Manitoba Public Insurance said today.
“Like any business, we take the steps necessary to ensure our systems remain resilient and reliable. Such system upgrades are extremely rare and we fully appreciate the cooperation from the Insurance Brokers of Manitoba and other business partners.”
All Manitoba Public Insurance Service/Claim centres and Contact Centre will reopen for regular business on Tuesday, Sept. 3. For urgent matters, customers can call 204-985-7888 on Friday, Aug. 30 between 9am and 4pm.
