On September 7, 2013, Nelson House RCMP executed a Controlled Drug and Substances Act search warrant at a residence on Nisichawayasihk Cree Nation (Nelson House).
Drugs, paraphernalia and cash seized by RCMP during at a Nelson House residence.
During the search of the home, bagged marijuana, including 44 marijuana joints, as well as drug paraphernalia and about $10,000 cash was seized.
RCMP report that five individuals were arrested and face several charges including possession for the purpose of trafficking and possession of proceeds of crime. All remain in police custody and are scheduled to appear in Thompson Court.
