Ted Falk will be the Conservative Party candidate in the upcoming Provencher byelection. A date for the byelection, to replace former Member of Parliament, Vic Toews, has not yet been announced.
“Provencher is a large and diverse riding,” said Falk. “In the coming weeks I plan to travel extensively within the riding to meet with residents and listen to their thoughts and views on matters that are important to them.”
Falk also commented on the upcoming byelection.
“Over the years we’ve seen how offside the Liberals and NDP have been on so many issues important to the people of Provencher. This riding deserves strong Conservative leadership in line with the values of its residents. I’m very humbled to have this opportunity.”
“Ted is an excellent choice to represent the people of Provencher,” said former Provencher MP Vic Toews. “Through his strong personal and business relationships he has demonstrated a high degree of integrity and commitment. I am pleased that he is now offering to serve the people of Provencher as their representative in Parliament.”
Falk has garnered support from across the riding, including endorsements from MLAs Kelvin Goertzen, Ron Schuler, Cliff Graydon, Dennis Smook and Wayne Ewasko.
