Conservative Party of Canada candidate for the up-coming by-election in Provencher, Ted Falk, has released a statement in regards to the local economy.
“While our Conservative government has continued to focus on what matters most to Manitobans – jobs, growth and the long-term prosperity of our economy – we have seen time and time again how out of touch the Liberal Party is with the concerns of residents here in Provencher.
Justin Trudeau’s Liberals are no different than the Liberal Party of the past that have consistently let down Manitobans time and time again. They voted against loan relief for rural doctors and nurses. They voted against pension income splitting for seniors. And it was the Liberals who wasted billions of dollars on a wasteful and ineffective long gun registry, then fought us the entire way as we worked toward scrapping it.
It is clear that the Trudeau Liberals have no economic plan for Manitoba. Trudeau’s plan consists of legalizing marijuana, making it more accessible to children, and repeating the experiment of Vancouver’s Insite facility across the country by opening supervised injection sites in our backyard. They have no credibility here in Provencher.
Past actions and current stances speak for themselves. Justin Trudeau and his party are in over their heads in Manitoba.”
