Justin Augert of the Steinbach Pistons has been named the Recycle Everywhere MJHL Player of the Week, ending September 29.
20-year-old Augert has been a key player in the Pistons’ impressive start this season, winning their first five games. The 6-foot-2, 210-power forward recorded eight points (3-5) for the defending MJHL champions.
The runners-up are 20-year-old forward Mitch Deacon of the Swan Valley Stampeders and 20-year-old forward Parker Thomas of the Selkirk Steelers.
