On October 7, 2013, members of the Steinbach RCMP responded to a two vehicle collision on Highway 12 at Park Road.
Police investigation revealed that a Jeep Patriot was heading west on Park Road when it turned south onto Highway 12. The Jeep then collided with a Ford Edge which was traveling east on Park Road.
RCMP report that there were minor injuries to the drivers of both vehicles.
As a result of the investigation a 61-year old-woman from British Columbia has been charged under the Highway Traffic Act for proceeding before it was safe to do so.
