Kidz 4 Kidz, a program OF CCI that links school children from Canada with school children in the developing world.
Steinbach Christian High School has joined Kidz 4 Kidz, a Childcare International program that aims to link school children from the “material” world with those of the “majority” world.
SCHS Grades 5 and 6 students interacting with students from Africa will come to realize that God has blessed them in so many ways and to give with a “Thankful heart” from the abundance supplied by God.
SCHS has partnered with the Faith Alive Academy in Kitgum, Uganda. SCHS has received letters from the Faith Academy where students wrote what they are thankful for. Grade 5 and 6 students are currently responding with letters of what they are thankful for, as well as any other correspondence (pictures, etc). In November all students will receive a Christmas catalogue that includes an appeal for school supplies.
In spring the high school fundraising will go towards the Faith Academy in Kitgum.
