On October 21, 2013, shortly before 7:30am, Carberry RCMP as well as local emergency services were dispatched to the scene of a collision which occurred at Wellwood Road and 1st Street.

Initial police investigation indicates that a tri-axle potato truck had collided into the RR D Ramsey Ltd Garage. Damage estimates to the building are not available but considered extensive.
RCMP report that the 28-year-old driver of the truck was transported to the Carberry Hospital by ambulance with undetermined injuries.
An RCMP Traffic Collision Analyst is assisting with the ongoing investigation.
