On October 27, 2013, just after 7:30pm, Virden RCMP as well as local Fire and EMS were dispatched to the scene of a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Highway 1 and Rich Hill Avenue.
Initial police investigation indicates a semi-trailer collided with a car.
RCMP report that the driver of the semi-trailer was not injured. The driver of the car was transported to Virden District Hospital with undetermined injuries.
An RCMP Traffic Collision Analyst is assisting with the ongoing investigation.
