On November 2, 2013, Steinbach RCMP received a compliant of several vehicles that had been broken into. The vehicles in question were parked on Clearspring Road.
Steinbach RCMP believe that the incident occurred between 3am to 4am on the same night and that 6 semi trucks had been damaged and items stolen from inside.
Police later received a report that several semi trucks were broken into at Penner International. It is believed that 2 male suspects are responsible and were driving a white Freightliner semi truck.
