Selkirk RCMP are currently investigating the sudden death of a local female youth that occurred this past October.
On October 30, 2013, shortly after 10:30pm, Selkirk RCMP and local EMS responded to a report of a youth in medical distress.
Police say that the young female was transported to Selkirk and District General Hospital, where she was pronounced deceased.
An autopsy was completed, and RCMP investigators are waiting for final reports. Police continue to investigate.
