RCMP report that 47-year-old Rhonda Daniels, 19-year-old Troy Desjarlais, 20-year-old Brent John and 21-year-old Kelsey Smoke, all of Long Plain First Nation, have been charged with a number of firearms and drug related offences.
RCMP would like to remind the public that drug use and drug trafficking not only affects individuals, it affects families, friends and communities as a whole. The economic impact if drug trafficking and drug use is very high. There is also a great impact to the justice system as well as the health care system. Drugs impact all areas of society, putting a stop to this type of activity requires a joint effort between police and community members. Anyone with information regarding drug and weapon related offences is asked to call their local police agency, RCMP Detachment or Crime Stoppers.
