On November 29, 2013, just after 9am, the RCMP Auto Theft Unit, with assistance from Stonewall, Arborg, Ashern and Lac du Bonnet RCMP Detachments, as well as RCMP Major Crime Services, executed a warrant at a residence in Komarno, Manitoba, a few kilometres north of Teulon.

With the assistance of the Winnipeg Police Service Street Crime Unit, the RCMP, through investigation, were able to recover nine stolen vehicles, including a semi-truck and a front-end loader. Police also recovered a firearm.
RMCP report that one adult male and one adult female are in custody facing multiple charges, including property and firearms offences.
The investigation is ongoing.
