Ted Falk, Member of Parliament for Provencher, took part in the grand opening of the gymnasium at École communautaire Saint-Georges. Falk was visiting the Franco-Manitoban community on behalf of the Honourable Shelly Glover, Minister of Canadian Heritage and Official Languages.

“Our two official languages are an integral part of our country’s history and identity,” said Falk. “This funding clearly demonstrates how we can meet the needs of the community while also encouraging linguistic and cultural development and identity‑building among young Canadians.”

“Our Government is a leader in promoting both our official languages across the country,” said Minister Glover. “With this support, we have helped make this institution a gathering place for the entire Francophone community.”
