On December 17, 2013 shortly before 7:30am, Brandon RCMP along with local fire and EMS were dispatched to the scene of a two-vehicle collision on Highway 1 at the Junction of PR 250.

Initial investigation suggests that a pickup truck traveling north on PR 250 pulled out in front of a westbound semi-trailer traveling on Highway 1. The semi-trailer collided with the pickup truck, causing the pickup to spin and end up in the ditch.

RCMP report that the driver of the semi, a 55-year-old Lorette man, was not injured. The driver and passenger of the pickup, a 22-year-old female along with her 2-month-old infant of Shilo, were both transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
