A Niverville man is facing numerous charges, including impaired driving, after police found him street racing in Steinbach this past weekend.
On February 1, 2014, at 2am, Steinbach RCMP observed two pickup truck leaving a local establishment in Steinbach. Police quickly quickly learned that the one pickup truck was trying to race the second truck.
Police pulled the aggressive driver over and determined that he was under the influence of alcohol.
RCMP report that the 19-year-old driver from Niverville is facing charges of impaired driving, driving over .08, imprudent driving and driving with open alcohol in a motor vehicle.
