On February 1, 2014 at approximately 11:24am, Steinbach RCMP received a report of a hit and run that occurred between the hours of 6pm on January 31, 2014 and 10:30am on February 1, 2014.
Police say that the vehicle, a black Chevrolet Equinox, was parked on the street near Minute Muffler when the incident occurred. The vehicle sustained damage to the trunk and the driver’s door. It appears that the impact would have caused the vehicle to face in the opposite direction of when it was originally parked. There was no debris left at the scene which would indicate that someone may have tried to clean-up any evidence.
