36-year-old Robert Linklater.
On February 27, 2014, just after 6 pm, RCMP and Winnipeg Police Service were alerted to the disappearance of 36-year-old Robert Linklater from the Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg.
Police say that Linklater is being sought for leaving the hospital despite an order that compelled him to remain in care.
It is believed Linklater could be headed to his hometown of Nelson House, Manitoba. Police are concerned for Linklater’s well-being as he is a vulnerable person. If Linklater is seen, do not approach him. He has violent tendencies, is considered dangerous and could be armed.
Linklater is described as an Aboriginal male, 5’6″ tall and weighs 160 pounds. He has dark, shaved hair and a chipped front tooth. He shuffles when he walks and moves with a slight limp. He was last seen wearing a blue parka with fur trim around the hood, a black toque with a thin white stripe on the front, blue jeans and black ankle-high boots.
