On March 13, 2014, at 3:20am, Hamiota RCMP and Fire Department were called to a fire located at Hamiota Feedlot Ltd, just outside of the town of Hamiota.
Hamiota Feedlot building completely destroyed by fire on March 13, 2014.
Upon arrival, police and fire crew discovered the building completely engulfed in flames. The building housed the office and several bays of equipment. Police say that the building and equipment was completely destroyed by the fire.
RCMP report no injuries in the fire. An estimate of damage and the cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
The Office of the Fire Commissioner will be assisting in the ongoing investigation.
