On March 28, 2014, at approximately 10:30pm, Steinbach RCMP were dispatched to a break and enter in progress at a residence in the downtown area of Steinbach.
RCMP report that one male youth was detained by the home owner who was home at the time of the incident, while a second male youth ran from the scene. Police engaged in a foot pursuit and a few blocks from the scene, arrested the second male youth involved.
Investigation has revealed the two youths searched vehicles on the property before entering the garage area which is connected to the home.
The investigation is on-going.
