On March 28-30, 2014, investigators from the Dauphin Municipal RCMP Detachment brought to a close Project Debrief, a seven-month long investigation into drug trafficking in Dauphin, Manitoba.
Over the course of the weekend, officers executed a number of Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrants resulting in the arrest of seven Dauphin residents. Police seized approximately 450 grams of marijuana and 15 grams of cocaine.
Police say that other than marijuana, cocaine is one of the most commonly trafficked and distributed drugs in Canada.
