A man from the Ste. Anne area is facing impaired driving charges after recently being arrested by Steinbach RCMP.

On April 4, 2014, at approximately 8:30pm, Steinbach RCMP were called to a report of a single vehicle that hit the ditch just north of Ste. Anne, MB. Police arrived on scene and determined that the driver was severely impaired. The driver was placed under arrest and escorted to the Steinbach Detachment where he provided breath samples that produced readings that were two times the legal limit.

RCMP report that the 51-year-old male from the Ste. Anne area was released from custody on a promise to appear in Steinbach Court.
