On April 17, 2014, at approximately 12:20 am, Selkirk RCMP were called to a residence on Eagle Creek Drive in the RM of East St. Paul for a possible break and enter due to a suspicious vehicle parked nearby.
Police investigation revealed that the vehicle was stolen and a female, located inside the vehicle, was arrested for vehicle theft. Further investigation helped police locate a male that had been breaking into residences on Eagle Creek drive. He was arrested for breaking and entering into a residence.
Both subjects were taken back to the Selkirk RCMP Detachment.
RCMP report that Byron Wayne Frost, a 27-year-old male from Selkirk, has been charged and is facing numerous charges. Stephanie Marie McMurchy, a 24-year-old female from Winnipeg, is also facing multiple charges. Both subjects have been remanded into custody.
