Steinbach MLA Kelvin Goertzen and his wife Kim and son Malachi joined members of the Nigeria Canada Congress of Manitoba, represented by Kenny Daodu (right) at a “Bring Back Our Girls” Rally at the Manitoba Legislature to bring international attention and pressure on the kidnapped African school girls.

The motion was presented in the Legislature Tuesday afternoon after Goertzen, the Conservative House Leader, asked that an emergency discussion take place on the issue. The motion was passed unanimously and will be sent to all members of the Canadian Parliament and the Canadian Senate.
