On May 17, 2014, just after 12:30 am, the Selkirk RCMP General Investigation Unit executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant at a residence on Murdoch Drive in the RM of St. Clements. Members from Selkirk RCMP and the East District RCMP Police Dog Services assisted with the search.
Drugs and firearms seized by RCMP at a residence on Murdoch Drive in the RM of St. Clements.
Police say that approximately 940 grams of cocaine, 157 lbs of marijuana as well as paraphernalia consistent with that used for the trafficking of a controlled substance, was seized from the residence. A large sum of money, four firearms and other prohibited weapons, such as bear spray and a Taser were also seized.
RCMP report that Daniel Kupchik, 43, and Karianne Ridgedale-Maglian, 37, both of the RM of St. Andrews, are facing numerous drug a firearms related charges.
