The Pas and Opaskwayak Cree Nation (OCN) RCMP are currently investigating the murder of a 34-year-old male from The Pas, Manitoba. RCMP are being assisted by the Winnipeg RCMP Serious Crime Unit, the Winnipeg and Thompson Major Crime Units, along with Thompson and The Pas Forensic Identification Sections.
Police say that on May 24, 2014, at about 3am, The Pas and OCN RCMP Detachments responded to a call for assistance regarding a male who was a victim of an apparent stabbing at a residence on the OCN, Manitoba. The male was conveyed to The Pas Health Complex and later succumbed to his injuries.
RCMP report that Joshua Zedidiah Parisian, 26, has been arrested and charged with second degree murder. He will be appearing in The Pas Provincial Court on May 26, 2014.
