On June 8, 2014, just before 6:30pm, an RCMP SUV traveling east on Wilkes Avenue, rolled over and landed in the ditch at the intersection of Wilkes and the Perimeter.

Police say that the on-duty male RCMP officer driving the vehicle was the only occupant in the vehicle at the time.

RCMP report that the officer sustained minor injuries in the collision and was not taken to hospital.
