On June 13, 2014, more charges were laid against 66-year-old Leslie Colmer, in relation to him presenting himself as a doctor and treating people seeking medical attention.
Police investigation revealed that Colmer did not have a medical licence, but he saw and treated patients in Steinbach, Winnipeg, Selkirk and surrounding rural areas.
Colmer remains in custody and is now facing 25 charges of fraud and 2 charges of assault. He is appearing in Winnipeg Court on June 16, 2014.
