On June 14, 2014, Prairie Mountain RCMP were contacted regarding a man asking people exiting the local convenience store if they wanted to buy hash.
When police attended the store, a male and a female were taken into custody. Their vehicle was searched, and RCMP discovered hash, marihuana, three knives and a large sum of cash.
RCMP report that Ronald Strader, 48, of Elm Creek, Manitoba remains in custody in Russell. Strader is currently on conditions from the Saskatoon Police Service and has two endorsed warrants. He is facing numerous charges including possession for the purpose of trafficking.
