On June 18, 2014, at approximately 3am, local Band Constable’s in Red Sucker Lake, Manitoba, located a man on the side of a road suffering from injuries sustained in an altercation.

Police say that the victim, identified as 30-year-old Clayton Harper, was transported to the local nursing station, then to Winnipeg Health Sciences Centre where he succumbed to his injuries. An autopsy has been performed on the victim.

Island Lake RCMP with the assistance of the Winnipeg Serious Crime Unit, Thompson and Winnipeg Major Crime Unit, North District CREST and Thompson Forensic Identification Section continue to investigate.
